Basmati Rice

Mahajan Molasses Company, a 2002 established company processes and supplies well-packaged basmati rice. The long-grained rice is mainly cultivated in the foothills of the Himalayas. Indian and South Asian cuisines are made using 1121 Basmati Sella Rice and 1121 Basmati Steam Rice. Classic Biryani is made using this rice. Turmeric or saffron flavored plain rice is served with various curries and meats. One can identify this rice by its unique and nutty taste, and slightly floral aroma. We make available white version of Basmati rice. In the processing of this version, bran and germ are removed from the brown rice.
